On the other hand, if you want to explain to us why the government's ever-expanding powers are a good thing, save your breath (and your fingers). If government wants expanded powers, congress should first propose amendments to the Constitution (granting it those powers) and submit the proposed amendments to the states for ratification. Simply assuming powers not granted by the Constitution is wrong. Those powers are retained by the states. That's pretty much the whole point of this site.

I apologize for the use of the "captcha" image validation thingeee scheme. I hate these things myself, but, given the lengths to which spammers will go, they are necessary.

"The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save.

"But until we do, these people are still a part of that system... and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inert, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

"Were you listening to me, Neo, or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?"
